Note’s From Last Week
Their first round pick  Arif Bijabhai has missed both games so far
Five out of the six goals conceded were 5 on 5
Context For Tonight
You play the other teams in your division twice. You do not want to go 0-3 in the first circuit of divisional games as you are chasing these teams for a playoff spot
Season seems so young to start talking about playoffs. However getting points in Week 3 is worth the same as getting points in Week 12. A loss tonight will send them to the bottom of the division
Prediction
Emaan win

Last Week’s Result
1-1 tie vs Haya
3-1 W over Ikhlas
Note’s From Last Week
Disappointing result last week as they faced Haya without Maaz Haq.
Really benefited from having the leadership Salman Khalid brings. Ridha secured the win without their star goaltender Ali Khawja. Call up Zak Bandisha filled in admirably last week.
Context For Tonight
If you keep getting ties while your divisional rivals get wins it is a one-way ticket to the bottom of the division.
With youth comes mistakes and this team will have to pay for not submitting a recap last week by being assessed a 2 minute penalty. They are hoping to overcome this blunder and get a nice little 2-game win streak going by 10:00 pm Friday night.
Prediction

Ridha win

Last Week’s Result
3-1 L against Ridha
1-1 ties vs Sabr
Note’s From Last Week
Ikhlas faced a team without their regular goaltender and were unable to take advantage
They manage to get at least a point last week by showing great resiliency without having Maaz Haq in their lineup
Context For Tonight
Similar to Emaan, you don’t want to go through the first circuit through your own division without a win
Ridha or Sabr can pass them up in them up in the standings if they lose Friday.
Prediction

Haya win

Note’s From Last Week
Goaltender Mohammed Khandwala has started his I-slam Hockey career with 2 straight wins
Ihsan played a dominant game last week that they were able to dominate on the scoreboard while avoiding taking a single penalty
Context For Tonight
Sweeping your division in the first circuit can have the potential to make the remainder of your season a lot more easier!
A win tonight gives Ihsan sole possession of top spot in the division
Prediction
Yaqeen win

Rookie goaltender Mohammed Khandwala did enough to secure his first I-Slam Hockey victory
After taking several seasons off (in the meanwhile doing some exemplary work in the community), Zaid Toorawa marked his return to I-Slam Hockey with a goal
Context For Tonight
A win tonight will make them the only undefeated team in their division

Last Week’s Result
3-3 with Ikhlas
2-1 W over Ridha
Note’s From Last Week
Had a poor start last week by falling behind by 2 goals at the end of the first half. They would score three straight goals in the second half to take the lead. However, Sabr would concede a goal in the dying seconds and settled for a draw
Boasting a lot of high profile offensive weapons, ironically Haya got a goal from an unexpected source last week (Zuhair Fancy). If the savvy defensemen can contribute to the goal scoring here and there then this team will become an offensive juggernaut
Context For Tonight
A huge divisional game to make sure Haya does not get too much separation between them in the standings
By winning tonight they can give them a nice little 3 point lead with them and Sabr

Last Week’s Result

3-2 L vs Yaqeen
Note’s From Last Week
Last week they were all Swedish but no Finish. Ihsan had chances, 19 of them, but only found the back of the net once. Also noteworthy is they gave up a lot of chances as they relied on the goaltender, Zayd Agjee 22 times.
Give Emaan credit they fought hard with a depleted lineup. Missing last week: Abdul-Wahab Mohamad, Arif Bijabhai, Farooq Sani and Huzaifa Manjra.

Naeem Akhter
certainly stepped out last week by blasting 2 goals through from the point.
Context For Tonight
It is tough to start the season with two straight defeats. If this happens they will be last in the league and in their division.

Last Week’s Result

Note’s From Last Week
Last week they were missing: Abdur-Rahman Buttar, Omar Saadat, Salman Khalid,  & Tariq Baksh. Except a late last minute goal in the second half Ridha did not have much to show for.
When separated from Humza Chaudhry, it is well known that Arslan Main does not perform well. He proved his doubters wrong by scoring two goals, where one came in the closing moments of last week’s game
Context For Tonight
It is tough to start the season with two straight defeats. If this happens they will be last in the league and in their division.
A win tonight will set up a big show down with Haya next week for the top spot in the Mecca division
Prediction

Ikhlas Victory
