Showed a lot of grit by coming back from a 3-0 deficit in the second half to come away with a tie vs Ikhlas
Idrees Deen added to the offense but it was not enough to get Sabr their first win

Note’s From Week 5
Grinded out a 1-1 draw versus Sabr which is a step in the right direction after being steamrolled by Ikhlas the week before
Without Fahad Mohammad (their goaltender), Maaz Haq and Arssal Shahbuddin they showed resiliency with a 3-3 tie against Shukr

Note’s From Week 5
Showed great sportsmanship by allowing Ahmad Mobin (Emaan goalie) to fill in for Fahad Mohammad (see News and Rumours). Week 5 against a short-benched Haya was a game they should have won rather than tying 3-3
Dominated Yaqeen with Sufyan Kazi notching 4 points and Omar Husain adding 3 points
Context For Tonight
Trying to stay on top of the Medina Division with both Ihsan and Yaqeen only one point behind
Trying to stay on top of the Mecca Division with only a 1 point lead over Haya

Note’s From Week 5
In Week 5 they were missing Adil Patel and got obliterated by Ridha.

Trying to reverse a downwards spiral. 4 weeks ago 1-4 losers vs Ihsan. 3 weeks ago blew a lead and settled for a 4-4 tie vs Haya. 2 weeks ago lost 5-2 against Ridha

a dominant 5-1 victory over Ihsan for their first victory of the season saw Ikhlas leap-frog Sabr in the standings for the last playoff spot  in the Mecca Division
Note’s From Last Week
Thoroughly out-classed and did not generate much offensive chances
Great team win but a little bit reckless in piling up the PIMs.
Context For Tonight
Their playoff hopes is slowly fading away. They must show some urgency to turn things around. A loss tonight most likely means this team needs to win 4 out of the 5 remaining games to have a chance to make the playoffs.
After getting their first win of the season, they are looking to build some momentum.
Prediction

Momentum
After coming off impressive wins against Emaan (5-2) and Yaqeen (4-1) two weeks prior they put up little resistance in their 5-1 lost to Ikhlas
one of the two win-less teams in the league (the other team is Emaan)
Note’s From Last Week
Their power play was abysmal last week.
Can anyone else beside their gms score a goal?
Context For Tonight
Looking to gain some consistency
Their playoff hopes is slowly fading away. They must show some urgency to turn things around. Like I said a few weeks back getting ties while other teams in your Division get wins is a one-way ticket to destination No Playoffs.

Haya continues to find ways to collect points. After falling behind 3-0, they battle back to tie Yaqeen 4-4, to remain the league’s lone undefeated team.
Note’s From Last Week
If Shukr gets a lead they are really good in coming away with the win on at minimum a tie
Maaz Haq factored in on all 4 goals last week.
Context For Tonight
In a tight race with Yaqeen to be the kings of Medina
They better not let their foot off of the pedal as Ridha can overtake them for the Divison Crown.
